Contemporary Color

Bill Ross & Turner Ross

Dan Janvey (Executive Producer), Michael Gottwald (Producer), & Josh Penn (Producer)

Conceived by David Byrne and directed by the Ross Brothers, Contemporary Color is an impressionistic concert film that celebrates the little-known world of high school color guard. Ten of the country’s elite color guard teams – the flag-flipping, sequin-studded creme de la creme of the ‘sport of the arts’ – sync steps with musical luminaries for a bacchanalia of beats, sabre-spinning, and glitter cannons.
