The DMP offers consulting on a wide range of topics for directors, writers, producers, financiers, and other organizations in the filmmaking space. As independent producers, we draw on our fifteen years of experience in the industry to help established professionals and newcomers alike. Tailored to the particular needs of an individual or organization, we can cover everything from the creative and strategic to the financial and logistical, offering advice on pitch decks, rough cuts, financing plans, and any other materials pertaining to the project. We are also available to generate shoot schedules, production plans, and budgets, should the project call for it. We are open to arrangements ranging from hourly sessions to yearly retainers.
DMP’S EDUCATIONAL SYMPOSIUMS
The DMP offers ready-made educational curriculum in the form of symposiums or workshops on independent filmmaking. Courses can be tailored to the specific needs of an institution and are available in person or online, and can range from one hour to one week. The sessions can combine a variety of case studies lectures, Q&As, feedback sessions and screenings. We use real life examples to equip students with the knowledge and tools they need to demystify independent filmmaking and navigate the industry. We aim to have students leave these courses feeling inspired, empowered, and more prepared to achieve their creative and professional goals, be it in producing, directing, writing or any number of crew or film industry roles.
