The DMP offers a variety of ready-made educational curriculum in the form of symposiums or workshops on independent filmmaking. Courses can be tailored to the specific needs of an institution and are available in person or online, and can range from one hour to one week. The sessions can combine a variety of case studies lectures, Q&A’s, feedback sessions and screenings. We use real life examples to equip students with the knowledge and tools they need to demystify independent filmmaking and navigate the industry. We aim to have students leave these courses feeling inspired, empowered, and more prepared to achieve their creative and professional goals, be it in producing, directing, writing or any number of crew or film industry roles.
